Established with a vision to prepare competent nursing professionals capable of providing quality healthcare services to society, particularly in rural and underserved communities.
Recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, the Maharashtra Nursing Council (MNC), Mumbai, and is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.
2005 - The journey of the institution began with the introduction of the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Diploma programme
2008 the college started the B.Sc. Nursing programme with an intake capacity of 50 students, which was subsequently enhanced to 100 seats in 2022.
2010 Continuing its commitment to nursing education, the college introduced the Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme with an intake capacity of 30 students. In response to the growing demand for higher nursing education, the intake was increased to 60 seats in 2022.
2017 -M.Sc. Nursing programme started with three specialties Medical Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, and Community Health nursing with a total intake of 16 students. Further expansion took place in 2022 with the introduction of Child Health Nursing and Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing, adding 10 more postgraduate seats.
2026 – Ph.D Programme in Community Health Nursing, Mental health Nursing and Medical Surgical Nursing started under MUHS, Nashik
