The College Library was established in 2005 when the college started functioning. Year after year it has made steady progress and has grown its collection to 5,728 Nursing Books with a subscription to 20 periodicals yearly on various Nursing subjects. The library features an open-access system where students can directly browse books.
The Central Library was established in 2002 along with the inception of the college. Since its establishment, it has grown steadily into a well-equipped knowledge resource centre supporting teaching, learning, research, and academic excellence. The library currently houses 14,109 medical books (comprising 11,632 books in the Central Library and 2,477 books in various departmental libraries) and subscribes to 19 Indian print journals.
The main reading hall has a seating capacity of 200, and the outdoor reading hall accommodates another 200 users and remains open 24 hours a day for uninterrupted self-study. Separate reading rooms are available for staff (40 seats) and postgraduate students (40 seats).
Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s, College of Nursing, is recognized by Government of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
